Action on Smoking & Health (ASH)

ASH has been supporting the global war on tobacco by working with and supporting the Framework Convention Alliance, a coalition made up of more than 500 organizations in over 100 countries. All of the organizations work together to enforce and effectuate the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) — the world’s first international public health treaty.


American Cancer Society

The America Cancer Society Cancer Action Network is an organization that empowers volunteers to influence change and impact the future of cancer. From gaining dramatic increases in funding for cancer research to ensuring all Americans have access to cancer care, their work is saving lives that lead to new innovative breakthroughs in how to fight this disease.

American Lung Association (ALA)

The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research.

American Heart Association (AHA)

AHA has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites our more than 33 million volunteers and supporters as well as more than 3,400 employees.


American Nonsmoker's Rights Foundation (ANRF)

The American Nonsmokers’ Rights (ANR) Foundation is a 501(c)3, educational nonprofit organization, which creates comprehensive programs to prevent the harmful effects of secondhand smoke and smoking among youth and adults. Their goals include educating the public about the health effects of secondhand smoke and the benefits of smokefree environments. 


California Department of Public Heatlh (CDPH)

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) works to protect the public's health in the Golden State and helps shape positive health outcomes for individuals, families and communities. 


Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

FDA's Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) regulates the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products. CTP's mission is to make tobacco-related death and disease part of America's past, not America's future, and, by doing so, ensure a healthier life for every family. 

Thirdhand Smoke Resource Center

The mission of the Thirdhand Smoke Resource Center is to share information, resources, and technical support with California’s residents, communities, businesses, health care professionals, and policymakers about the toxic legacy of tobacco smoke residue and to achieve indoor environments that are 100% free of tobacco smoke toxicants. The Thirdhand Smoke Resource Center is funded by California’s Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program.
